About

I sit on both sides of this.

I’m a counsellor with a full practice, and the person colleagues kept quietly asking to “just look at” their website. After enough of those conversations, the pattern was obvious: therapists don’t need bigger websites, they need calmer ones. Clear fees. Credentials that read as safety. A booking button that actually works.

So I made Helping Websites: a small, deliberately unfancy studio that builds practice websites the way a colleague would. Someone who knows what an RCC is, why coverage copy matters, and how it feels when a potential client is deciding whether to reach out.

I keep the client list small on purpose: a few builds a month, done properly, alongside my own practice. If the calendar’s full, I’ll tell you honestly and hold you a spot.

A note on ethics

I never build websites for my own therapy clients, and the two practices are kept fully separate. If we have a clinical relationship, I’ll happily refer you to another builder.

Not sure where to start?

That’s exactly what the free consult is for: 20 minutes, and you’ll leave with a plan.
