Helping Websites wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our approach
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice, that means:
- Text and buttons have strong colour contrast.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Images have text descriptions, and headings follow a clear order.
- Forms have clear labels and error messages.
- The site respects your device settings for reduced motion and text size.
- A "Reading preferences" button lets you enlarge text, strengthen contrast and underline links.
Known limitations
Some third-party tools, such as online booking systems, are provided by other companies and may not meet the same standard. If anything gets in your way, please let us know and we will help another way.
